Falk Construction Corporate Management Team

Falk Construction is a fully operational general contracting firm that consists of approximately 50 employees. Each project consists of its own individual management team, administrators, and field staff to ensure both quality and efficiency. The culture at Falk Construction emphasizes the importance of team building and collaboration per the growing demands of the construction industry.

David L. Falk

Founder

David founded D.L. Falk Construction, Inc. in 1993, after serving as vice president of H.L. Falk for 10 years where he also perfected his skills in the position of chief estimator and senior project manager. Possessing a Bachelor of Science degree in business with a concentration in real estate/finance has also assisted David to excel in the field of real estate development. His impressive experience record has enabled him to lead his company to a position as one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s premier builders of commercial, public works and multi-family construction. It is David’s intent to deliver each project as seamlessly as possible and to ensure that the owner’s expectations are met.

David T. Falk

Owner, Director of Operations

David started with DL Falk Construction in 2003 as a laborer and worked his way through the ranks to currently both own and serve as the Director of Operations, managing all day-to-day activities at the company. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Regional Development from the University of Arizona and is directly involved with potential work acquisition, risk management, and general company organization.

Heidi Diep

Controller

Heidi joined DL Falk Construction in 2015 as Controller, overseeing the company’s Administration, Risk Management, and Accounting/Finance functions. Prior to joining DL Falk Construction, Heidi held Finance, Accounting, and Risk Management positions at multiple reputable General Contractors and Subcontractors accumulating over 20 years of construction industry experience. Heidi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting from Cal Poly Pomona.

Huan Truong

Estimator

Huan has over twelve years of public hard bid experience. He began his career in the Seattle area as a project engineer and has been working as an estimator specializing in concrete/site works, and general engineering since moving to bay area in early 2004. Huan holds a Construction Management degree from the University of Washington and is vital to the day-to-day bidding efforts at DL Falk. His past projects include: private residence foundations, community parks, athletic fields, public transit center, skate parks, school and library construction.

Angela Raines

Senior Project Manager

Construction was the furthest thing from Angela’s mind while growing up in the East Bay Area of California. That suddenly changed when she began working for a construction defect litigation firm as an administrator while attending college majoring in Psychology. Angela quickly learned she had a passion for construction and the process of building which has allowed her to rapidly excel in her career over the years. With over 20 years of construction experience, she uses her knowledge of those experiences to run her projects safely, efficiently, effectively at budget and on time, while providing a quality product to the owner and end users. She has successfully managed various types of public works projects over the years including prisons, schools, labs, fire stations, libraries, municipal buildings, offices and more for multiple counties. Angela holds an active general B contractor’s license and enjoys performing construction DIY projects on weekends.

Sean Manion

Project Manager

Sean has been privileged to work on refurbishing the iconic Sather Gate and Campanile Tower at UC Berkeley. Some of his many past projects include a state-of-the-art birthing center, a Leeds-certified Children’s learning facility, and a human genome lab. Public works being his forte, Sean has also managed the building of fire stations, and a recreation center in SF. Creating networks and teams that draw from a diverse community of people from all strata and walks of life keeps Sean interested and feeling vital.
 
Special interests include staying current with a wide variety of social, political and economic issues that affect our communities now and in the future. Some hobbies include discovering and riding the endless bike trails of Northern California, as well as all varieties of outdoor activities!

Omar Abdullah

Project Manager

Omar began his career in the construction industry in 2003. Through various private and public projects, he has gained valuable experience in field engineering, estimating, claims analysis, dispute resolution, and project management. Omar has complete projects in a variety of sectors, but notably, projects involving education, healthcare, residential, and public works. Omar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Science in Construction Administration.

Lily Nedjad

Project Manager

Lily is joining DL Falk from a background in custom residential and commercial construction. She has successfully managed various custom projects, ensuring their timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Prior to entering the construction industry, Lily worked as a Quality Control Field Engineer with PG&E. Lily holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Krissy Falk

Labor Compliance & Project Closeout Administration

Krissy has worked at DL Falk since 2010 and manages the labor compliance department, along with coordinating project closeout activities to ensure a seamless transition into post construction with our clients. Krissy is considered the “life of the office” and enjoys spending time with her family along with partaking in various outdoor activities when not at work.

Selinay Yuksel

Project Manager

Selinay has graduated as a metallurgy and material science engineer from college and started her career in the production side of the construction industry in 2012. She worked as a production manager and later as a quality control manager. Then she started her master’s degree in industrial and systems engineering where she encounters a chance to be part of construction processes through internship.
She was able to apply her education and experience from various aspects of the construction industry in day to day project management. Her experience spans mixed used residential ground ups, custom high end residential, commercial tenant improvements and pre construction
