Scotts Valley Library
The Project
Conversion of skating rink into a library, including plumbing, electrical, new HVAC and interior redesign.
The Facility
The Scotts Valley library is a branch of the Santa Cruz public libraries. The current facility is almost 3 times larger than the previous one, and contains several special features including a children’s literacy center, study rooms, a Wii gaming wall in the teen room, and a flat-screen media center in the Fireside Room. The entryway displays commemorative bricks sold by the Friends of the Library, Scotts Valley Chapter.
